Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have 96 dodge ram. I have no reverse. I DID THE FIRST GEAR DRIVE TEST AND IT FREEWHWHEELS WHEN YOU LET OFF. I have all forward gears and shifts just fine. I have read a lot on this and I have changed filter and oil. The pan had some some sluge in it. This truck was bought with 60,000 on it and tranny has been serviced. Now it has about100k on it now.do you think I should change the filter again and put some Lucas in it? Filter was changed about a year ago...Ive read on here if it freewheels its a rear band/servo. or stuck valve. Im on a budget or I would just rebuild this has been one of the best trucks I have ever owned so far. It was like new when I got it. Please give me some advice on what to change. Thanks
