i have a 99 dodge ram 1500 5.2 2 wd automatic transmission will a transmission in a 99 dodge ram 1500 2 wd 3.9

A500/42RH-RE Transmission came in light duty Dodge Rams with the 3.9 Liter V6...and the A518/46RH-RE came in the 5.2 Liter and 5.9 Liter V8's. I know that does not really answer your question, but indicates the one that came with the 3.9 is a lighter duty and even if it did bolt up, from a V6 to a V8 it might not hold up to the higher torque produced, especially if you do any towing

I have a 1990 Dodge Ram 4 wheel drive pickup with a V8 will 99 Dodge Dakota 4 wheel drive V6 fit in the transmission center change
