Overdrive

Asked by Jonas04 Sep 18, 2016 at 11:23 PM about the 1997 Dodge RAM 1500 Laramie SLT Club Cab RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I changed the transmission and at fist it was fine.
After an hour of testing it the transmission started
acting up. Now my overdrive light won't turn off.
Please if someone could help me I would really
appreciate it.

Now the truck wont gear into 1st gear. It only gets reverse and 3rd gear. And no I didn't rest the computer. Do I need to reset it. How do I reset it. The check engine light came on and got these two codes. P0132 and p0134. I really don't know what to do because it's doing the same thing it did with the other transmission.

Hopefully that would work cause it's doing the same thing the old transmission is doing. And I don't think both have the same exact issue. Yesterday we put in the other transmission
