Overdrive doesn't work

Hi. I have a 2000 ram 1500 and when I bought it
from a guy the overdrive didn't work. So I took it to
a local transmission shop and he told me it was a
sensor. Long story short I bought a 98 truck in
which it had a very solid transmission and motor
so I swapped both the engine and transmission.
Still no overdrive.
