cant get it to start

no spark gust put a man trans from a auto trans . and starter not working unless i hot wire it

Will the starter turn the engine over and it won't fire or is the starter dead? If starter dead, the connector for the neutral safety switch is most likely open. You can jump it with a wire and connectors but you really need to wire it to a clutch switch to prevent in gear accidental start ups. Good Luck!
