I have a 1997 Ram 1500 with a 360. When  I drive it down the road and stop it don't shift
back to first. I can manually shift it to first and start off.

    I have a 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 with 5.2 engine. about 1/3 of the time the transmission won't shift into 3rd. If I shift into neutral and back to drive then it will shift. It doesn't slip.

    I was getting on the freeway today, and as I stepped into it and the transmission went to downshift, it completely stopped responding. No drive or reverse, what could of happened. Luther
