My 1997 dodge ram 1500 sport 4x4 only tops out at 86mph. Trying to figure out why this is.

I read up that this model should top out
at 110mph.

It wont accelerate over 86. The limiters dont even kick in yet. Im going to get a full tune up in the next few weeks and see if that helps also use some lucas fuel treatment to clean the injectors out and see if that gives it a little something too.
