Cooling system

Asked by BGnation94 Aug 29, 2016 at 12:18 AM about the 1997 Dodge RAM 1500 ST Club Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So my truck would randomly overheat and
then drop back down. So o changed the
thermostat. Now it still does it when I'm
driving normally and if it starts to do that
and I increase the rpm to over 2k it cools
right back down. Any advice 5.9L gas job

Might need to flush ur radiator real good that will help a lot after time a lot of trash will build up...or u need to pressure washer iron coils that will help out alot...try those 2 things and if it don't help might need to buy a new radiator.....
