valves rattles from a cold start

I have a 1997 dodge ram 1500 5.2 and from a cold start the right side valves rattles  and
the oil light takes about 3 seconds befote it goes out and stops rattling why is that?

Thank you very much motor has 146000 miles so I've been trying to decide on get another truck with a payment or do all my repairs thats needed on this truck NOT SURE
