Wouldn't be a plugged catalytic converter in the exhaust would it?
If the engine seems to run fine, but holding back, the cat can do this. All you need to do is drive the truck, get it warmed up, park in a dark area and with the truck still running, look at the cat. it would be glowing orange if it is plugged up. This definitely would be the cause of the truck not able to accelerate. May have to have someone hold the gas pedal and idle it at like 2000 rpms also.
