i have a 98 dodge ram 1500 5.9 360 motor, and i went to start it today after putting gas in, and i turned the key and all it did was crank and crank tying to kick on. the owner before had let it sit for 2 months. we think its the fuel pump, but we need answers

spray some fuel in intake see if fires, listen at tank for 2 second run with turn of key,bang on tank pump may have dried stuck, look for valve on fuel rail for pressure tests, switch some relays around in box under hood one may be sticking

check for spark, if no spark check for power to coil if none maybe the crank sensor.
