Asked by jecmt7 Jul 02, 2018 at 01:57 PM about the 1998 Dodge RAM 1500 Laramie SLT Quad Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

1998 ram 5.9 Magnum gas, charging system not charging battery. Pulled the
alternator and sent in to alt. repair shop, Altnator tested fine, brushes down
to 25% so had them replaced. Battery only receiving 9 to 10v. Regulator? if
so is it in the pcm?  How can I test? What else should i be looking for before
replacing the pcm?
