Why does my left turn signal blink fast?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
My left turn signal blinks fast while I use it. I have replaced all of the lights so that is not the issue. Also when I turn my headlights on my left blinker light on the dash comes on and stays on. It is a manual switch for headlight. I am still able to use the left blinker, but it remains fast. When I turn the hazards on the left blinkers work at correct speed. Please help.

change FLASHER...check/clean bulb sockets/grounds...not hard and inexpensive.

What do you mean by change flasher? I will check all the sockets.

Did this fix your problem, I have the exact same symptoms. And when everything is off, and I am out of the truck, the left from marker/turn signal stays on.

It's a bad ground to a bulb socket. With no ground, power backfeeds through the bulb from parking lamp power.
I found a bad ground bundle under the battery on the drivers side of the truck. Corrosion had started deteriorating all the wires, so I reworked the entire bundle. You MUST first disconnect the battery and remove the battery and battery tray. Then you MUST disconnect the connectors on the computer on the passenger side firewall to prevent possible damage to the computer or ECM.

I have same issue of blinker going fast on one side. Notice came up on dash “bad left front signal”. Bought bulbs that parts store looked up and once I got headlight out I found turn signal is LED. Bulbs are useless. Any answers?
