They normally blink fast when the opposing one is faulty (front to back on same side)

The blinker. Under the dash is getting ready to go. $7.00 fix
where is this blinker under the dash you speak of? I've replaced the left front signal bulb 5 times and the problem is intermittent. The bulbs are never blown but it acts like it is each time. I fix it and it reappears within a few days.
Hi Jimmy. Did you ever get this fixed? I'm having the same problem. My right side blinker is flashing rapidly. The front right side signal light is working, however the rear right one is not. I've replaced the bulb twice but still no luck.
2006 dodge ram 1500 3.7 liter left blinker is blinking fast and the driver front and back blinker is not working or flashing. got a new blinker switch but still does the same thing...help
As I recall too heavy of a load will cause the turn signal lights to blink fast. If you had the wrong bulbs it might cause this problem or it could be a bad sending unit.
What is the sending unit? And where is it located.

My TIPM had a bad leg caused blinker fail. Expensive repair to replace TIPM
when you replace the bulb, put dielectric grease on the contacts
I took my 2006 Dodge ram to the dealership about this problem. They said that if there is a electrical issue/fault in a particular circuit, it will shut down the circuit in the TIPM. They have to reset it with their proprietary software. I was also told that the unit has a limited number of resets before it completely shuts the entire unit down.
