99 dodge ram bogs down from stop

Asked by Marcus Mar 06, 2016 at 04:59 PM about the 1999 Dodge RAM 1500 Laramie SLT Club Cab LB RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 99 dodge ram that I just bought. It had a
couple of minor issues that I fixed the day after
getting it. The one issue that I can't seam to figure
out is when it starts off it seams like it is a semi
pulling a load. There is no slipping between gears.
Starating off in 2nd or reverse has no issues. It
don't make any sense.

Transmission fluid Drain back valve is clogged located front of engine compartment where trans cooler line output runs into radiator can bypass it with a pipe cutter and some 3/8 fuel line or buy a new drain back valve!!
