What would cause
a 99 Dodge ram
1500 to keep
having the wheel
bearing go bad

Do you have over sized tires or wheel spacers on the truck? Is this the front or rear bearings?

Are you buying those cheap wheel bearing hubs at the parts store? Master Pro available at O'reillys don't last very long.

Are you using an impact wrench to install the center nut ??? (If you are Don't ) Buy a Timken bearing (Tapered roller bearing ) not the cheap ball bearing Remember you get you pay for

My bearings broke and a piece is stuck on the truck still. How do I get that off
