Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I'm trying to replace the left fron wheel bearing on my 2003 dodge ram 1500.  I have taken the three bolts out of the back, unhooked the ABS line, and removed the calipers and ziptied them up out of the way.  The bearing will not come out.  I was told that it would come out as soon as you take the three bolts out but I can't seem to budge it.  Is there something I'm missing?  Any advise would be appreciated.

Try a bearing puller tool, it may be frozen in place from age.

A bearing puller tool will not work as the wheel bearing unit on the 2003 is a complete unit with lugs attached and the center being open so there is nothing for a puller to push against.

start the bolts in a few threads then use an air hammer with a cup bit place it over the head of the bolt and go around evenly between the three bolts. may take a few seconds for the initial budge. takes about a minute all together
