2wd Transmission convergence to 4wd

I have an 1999 Dodge ram sport 4*4 automatic 5.9. with no reverse. Can I put
a tranny from an 01 Dodge ram 5.2 2wd. And if possible ,what do I have to do
to to accomplish this ?
