Excessive water in exhaust system
What could be causing me to have so much water
in my exhaust system. My catalytic converter
seems to be rusting out because of it
When gas is burned you get two things. CO2 and water. The water is normally exhausted as steam and you don't see it except when it condenses on cold mornings. If you have a lot of water all the time it would be coolant leaking into the combustion chambers. Is the coolant level going down all the time? Short trips will allow a lot of water to condense in the exhaust system which will rust the exhaust system.
