4x4 trans

I put my truck into 4 wheel drive. The 4x4 transmition ingages okay. However, the 4x4 light on the dash dosent come on and, the 4 wheel drive dosent work. It stays in 2 wheel drive. The light on the dash dosent come on in 4 wheel low ether. All the vacume lines seam to be in good shape. I replaced the 4 wheel actuator switch with a new one, still not going into 4 wheel drive. What to do next?

Check for vacuum at actuator. Then check if vacuum switches direction when you move 4 wheel selector.
Where is the 4x4 actuated on a 99 dodge Durango 5.9
Im having bout same problem but I replaced the actuator on transfer if I move the vacuum to one side it will go into four wheel drive but my light goes out im lost
Vacuum switch is on drivers side on top of transfer with four vacuums on it the actuator is on front passenger side of drive axle
