Brake

The booster or pedal may not be adjusted correctly or be sticking... As a diagnostic, loosen the master cylinder nuts about a turn and it might free the brakes. If it does the problem is in the linkage or booster. OF course you replaced the guide pins / bolts that the caliper travel on / slid on and greased them. Regards

i had this problem 2 yrs ago my right side stuck bad,,, i know how u feel but any way an old black man told me to put it in drive go fast bout 50 ft or so SLAM ON BRAKES ( i mean like u trin to avoid an accident) do it in reverse same thing slam on brakes do this a few times,,,, after this my brakes work fine and havent had a problem since and yes spent alot of money buyin this and that let me know how it works out

THE PROBLEM IS WITH THE BRACKET THAT HOLDS THE CALIPER AND BRAKE PADS. IF YOU LOOK AT THE TOP OF IT WHERE THE TOP OF THE BRAKE PADS PUSH UPWARDS WHEN THE BRAKES ARE PRESSED AS IF YOU WERE MOVING FORWARD YOU WILL SEE TWO LITTLE WEAR INDENTATIONS WHERE THE PADS HAVE REPEATEDLY HIT WHEN YOU STOP. IT CREATES A GROVE TO THE POINT WHERE THE PADS ARE STUCK IN IT AND THE CALIPER WILL NO LONGER PROPERLY SLIDE. JEEPS HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM SINCE THEY ARE THE SAME PLATFORM I HAVE GROUND DOWN THE BRACKET REALLY IT'S THE STEERING KNUCKLE THAT'S WHY THEY WON'T RECALL IT BECAUSE THEY WANT $400 JUST FOR THE PART. YOU CAN'T REALLY ALTER THE BRAKES AND STILL PASS SAFETY BUT IF YOU GRIND AN 1/8" OR HOWEVER MUCH IT TAKES TO MAKE THE SLIDING SURFACE FLAT AGAIN IT WILL SOLVE YOUR PROBLEM FOR A WHILE UNTIL YOU BUY A KNUCKLE OR THEY GIVE IN AND RECALL IT. I FABRICATED A STAINLESS STEEL BUSHING FOR THE PADS TO HIT ON AND IT'S WORKED FOR YEARS. I HOPE THIS AT LEAST GIVES YOU AN IDEA OF WHAT'S WRONG IF NOT A GOOD SOLUTION. GOOD LUCK
