Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2000 dodge ram 1500 sport 4x4.
Automatic transmission with manual
4x4. The truck seems to not want to
get out of 4 wheel drive, no matter
what. It how into every gear but 2H.
And I've tried reverse to try and
dislodging it and it doesn't work. I've
tried shifting it numerous times.
When I drive with it in 4 wheel, the
steering binds from the front right
side and clicks along with it pulling
on steering wheel. What could this
be caused by? Is it front axle or just
the transfer causing it? ( I also
disconnected front drive shaft as well
and that made no difference in
steering or speed or acceleration)
