I have a 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 I disabled the battery to replace a hose. When I hooked the battery back up the dome lights are on all the time but very dim and I can't get them off

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I did some work on my engine and when I replaced the battery the alarm kept
going off so I disconnected the fuses for the alarm module. Now the dome
light are on very dim but all the time and I can't get them off? Yes, there off at

You need to have the alarm reflashed, you lost the memory when you removed the battery and only the dealership can do this

roll down driver's window, put key in ignition, close and lock all doors, disconnect negative battery terminal, reach in window and turn and leave key to "on" position, ("on" position, not "start" position), reconnect negative battery terminal with key still in "on" position. This worked for me.
