Can't get truck to turn over

I have a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 I
bought it like 4-5 months ago and it ran
fine I don't mistreat my truck but now
when I go to start it I turn the key and it
cranks and cranks and cranks but doesn't
seem to be starting up although after
several times of trying it will eventually
engage but I cant figure it out anybody got
any ideas

Check you Crank Position Sensor for a signal. It's basically a hall effect sensor. If it goes out it will never start.
