Odd to have to "replace" a dash- why? btw- you will have to get the right dash-
Total PITA. If you're doing this for appearance-sake, just get a dash cover. Then there is the VIN issue. Then there is the instrument cluster and "odometer discrepancy." If this is for re-sale, nothing kills a deal quicker than swapping VINs and odometer discrepancies. It will look like you are trying to hide a stolen vehicle. God forbid you have to take this vehicle in for a state inspection to register it, if this is a rebuilt title. IMO do everything you can to fix the dash, not swap it out of another vehicle.
