How do I repair the dampers on my AC behind the dash on my 2001 dodge ram p u

damper behind dash opens or closes when I apply the brakes and blowa hot
air. I have to turn AC off and back on to get cold air again, also air warms
gradually when climbing hill.

I'm guessin' ur talkin' about the fresh/recirc door. The doors r controlled by an electric controller that breaks at the door axle. You'll more than likely have to pull the plenum to properly replace the door/actuator assembly. That said, it could also be the blend door, if this is true...check out this site http://heatertreater.net/dodge-ram-95-02
