01 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT won’t start?

Asked by Christina May 27, 2023 at 05:37 PM about the 2001 Dodge RAM 1500 SLT 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Truck drove fine all day yesterday, drove to
gas station put gas in it and it cranked for a
second then died. We had just replaced the
idle sensor last week. Cleaned distributor,
replaced wires because when we went to
check plugs the inside of boot on the wire was
attached to the top of plug, changing plugs
next. If this doesn’t fix it what should be done
next??

1 Answer

Changed distributor cap ,pick up coil and rotator cap, also changed crank shaft sensor pretty much everything to do with firing it up. Still nothing. Now what?
