2002 dodge 1500 4.7

When I'm driving down the road
the engine bogs down and it
sounds like the exhaust quits
working in the engine revs up.
When the rpms get low you can
here the exhaust again. I have no
power to get it to shift to the next
gear. I have to let the rpms get
down a little then it will kick in to
gear. Truck cranks fine and ideals
great. What could be the issue

Feel how much exhaust is coming out the tail pipe, could have clogged exhaust.
