Can you use a dexron type atf mixed with the atf 4 in a bind

Asked by Nlang78 Feb 19, 2019 at 08:46 AM about the 2002 Dodge RAM 1500 SLT 4WD

I didnt realize how low my fluid levels were in my
transition to the point it started to actually slip a
gear when hauling a load of water... can I use the
gas station brand dexron and mix it with the atf4 I
already have in my truck now to top it up so that it
isnt slipping anymore
