Leaking a lot of gasoline when the car is started the pump spills a lot of gas!
is it a leak in a line or is there a crack in the ppump
we need to find out what is wrong so you don't replace the wrong part has anyone fixed the fuel system in the last year
have you done anything on it take the fuel pump off and examine for any visible cracks it might just be a bad line if they are rubber replace all of them
pumping gas everywhere with the pression when car is started
but is it going down the fuel pipe and in the engine compartment or is it by the pump if it is pumping gas out the pump is not bad
then change them with new hose clamps and hoses you can get them at any parts store and remember you can only cut it once it is better to be longer than you need than to not be long enough
oh one more question are hoses replacemnt expensive? do you have an aproximated cost?
Depends of how many feet you need. I would guess under $30. I would dry everything down and see exactly where the leak is. You can start by only replacing the bad hose.
