Up until yesterday the oil gauge in my 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 would go to 0 - the check gauges lite would come on and pressure would be restored just as quickly as it had been lost. Yesterday, the truck won't start at all - all gauges seem to be OK except the oil gauge - nothing happens when I turn the key. Could this be the oil pump? 5 Answers

My 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie 5.9L will cut out during acceleration and sometimes die. No check engine light comes on. What can be the problem? 1 Answer
Replaced the fuel pump about 6 months ago. Haven't had any problems in that regard since. I thought I would get an engine light if it was as O2 sensor.

My 94 dodge ram 1500, 5.2L, runs okay but began using lot of fuel. Had trouble codes 37, 32, and 51. Cleaned throttle body and checked for vaccum leaks or bad hoses. Code 32 gone away. Cleared code 51 which according to Haynes manual is not supposed to make the check engine light come on. Their is no code 37 in the Haynes manual for a gasoline engine on the 94 Ram. Their is for diesel engine. What is it, where is it at and how do I correct the problem. 51 I know is the O2 sensor. Truck runs great, shifts fine , but is still using more fuel than normal. Been reading about code 37 and transmissions, don't think my problem is there. Any help ? 5 Answers
Cannot get the Code 37 to clear, can disconnect the battery and the code 51 clears, The code 32 has not come back but 51 comes back. 37 does not go away. Engine light will not come on after starting...
