2003 dodge ram 1500 4.7 transmission problem?

So I have a 2003 dodge ram 1500 4.7 and on the
high way when I give it slight gas it seems to
hesitate or when I'm going up hill it feels like a
slight Jerking/ jumping motion when I give it light
gas around 55 MPH but when I punch the gas and
get the rpm up its fine what could this be ?

Sounds like the problem is with the engine. May need a tune up, and the mass air flow sensor along with the throttle body needing to be cleaned.
