Are throttle body spacers worth the price? See any kind of performance enhancement?

unless you have a cold air intake i dont think they really do much for you, but when you couple them with a CAI, you do get a little more power cause it creates more air you can force in

Throttle body spacers are completely and utterly useless on MPI engines.... They are used on carburated engines to better atomize the fuel, it might even work on a TBI engine. Even the "swirling" ones do absolutely nothing regardless of what kind of air intake you have

i had one on my 96 ram 1500 360, i feel it gave me slightly better throttle response and i definitely gained a little HP. but hey i dont even know what a gas engine is any more diesels the way to go guys.

Not trying to start shit with you dan, but there's no way the spacer did anything. Especially with the design of the intake manifold on the 360.... never trust the butt dyno.

Will a throttle body spacer do more speed performance on a dodge ram 1500 2003 4.7 litter

I bought a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 two years ago and it had the spacer on it. Finally today I decided to take it off because it was throwing my air to gas ratio off and it made it run like crap. It runs so much better without one.
