'04 Dodge Ram 1500 won't idle

Asked by Craigtclarke Jul 22, 2015 at 12:14 PM about the 2004 Dodge RAM 1500 SLT Quad Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Put the truck in a puddle a while ago. Broken connecting rod and bent exhaust vale on #2
cylinder. Replaced these as well as new seals and gaskets. Still won't idle. Replaced all
injectors, plugs, air intake temp sensor, map sensor. Left with no codes to resolve.
Truck's still in the same state. Really frustrated to say the least. No O2 codes, no EGR
codes, fairly new. Was going to try replacing the throttle body as the throttle position
sensor is integrated into it. Just don't want to spend more money needlessly. Help
needed soon.
