I closed the hood on 2004 DODGE RAM 1500 Quad Cab 4 x 4 and the wipers did one rotation.

I was looking at this truck, popped the hood and when I closed it the wipers did one back and forth. Not running and no key in the ignition. Is this normal? It did not do it the second time.

Probably bad connector near firewall or at the wiper motor. If it happens again, check connector plugs for arcing and debris.
