Tranny slippage

I need to know on 04 ram 1500 with hemisphere
engine what would cause slippage of
transmission. Just started yesterday only had
second gear . Had a scanner hook up but kid at
parts store not to bright he was trying to list like 50
different codes that were saying entire truck was
shot yet this if first time I have had any problems .

First check the ATF level. If the level is good then your transmission is probably on the way out.

    Tranny was completly emty i put in the reccomended 11 qrts. Now tranny seeping fluid and wont go into passing when in drive will get to 50 then whine out

    We have a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 5.2. Tranny was working fine 2 days ago, yesterday it wouldn't shift in to OD. The OD on/off light in dash works when you push button. Any help??
