Asked by Calvin Jan 21, 2018 at 10:13 PM about the 2004 Dodge RAM 1500 SLT Quad Cab LB 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2004 Ram 1500 has a battery draw. I replaced
the Gage cluster $950, ignition switch $350, new
battery. Still draining. I pulled fuse 20 that is the
only thing that will keep my battery from drain. I
pull it at night and put back in in the morning.
Frustrated. Help.

I have a parasitic draw on my 2003 Ram 1500. I pulled left plug from instrument cluster and parasitic draw stopped. I was going to send off since I can’t purchase new one and was told it’s not cluster causing problem. Not sure what to do?
