How do i fix my speedomiter?

I have a 2004 Dodge ram 1500 rear wheel drive with a 5.7L engine the speedometer is not working and the abs light is on. I changed the speed sensor in the transmition after I read that was the most common problem and it fixed nothing. Please help I need to get my truck fixed.

you may have to pull the dash out and make sure the cable is connected, but first check all fused in dash and under hood..

Same problem one of the fuses marked as spare was out I replaced it.and my abs light shut off and speedometer worked
