I have a 2005 ram 1500. The service 4 wheel drive light stays on and it will not engage the 4x4. I have put it on a computer and no codes come up. Any Ideas where to start?
I need to try and fix this myself if possible

I have an 04 dodge ram quad cab 1500 4 wheel drive and when it has sat for a couple hours when you start it the oil pressure gauge doesn't move causing the check gauges light to come on. 2 Answers
I turn the truck off and restart it and the gauge works fine. Any ideas?

I have a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 4.7 Sport. I recently put in a new/used motor because my old one had a bad crankshaft. So after getting new motor in I started the truck and it ran great. I only ran it for about 5 seconds because I noticed I had a broken transmission line. I went back the next day and fixed the line. I went to start the truck back up and nothing happened. No click no nothing, everything lights up on dash. My engine light comes on and blinks about tens times than stays steady. My gear selections are all lit up.
