Get in the car and turn the key to the "On" position without actually starting it. Have a friend with good hearing stand next to the gas cap and listen for an electrical whining noise from the gas tank area. The whine is the fuel pump coming on when you turn the key on. If you can hear the sound, then your fuel pump is turning on. If you can not hear anything, then there is a chance your fuel pump is not coming on at all.. you might want to check the fuses because you have a fuse that is for the fuel pump and for that matter check all your fuses and if that is not it then try the fuel filter because if it clogged it could possibly keep your truck from starting. you wanna try the least expensive thing first because if a little ole fuse will fix it then great.
thanks for the tips and will let u know in a few hours
remove pump and screen put in water add 12 volts and see if it works if it does not try replacing wiring with 16 gauge wiring
Check for codes first. Turn it key 3 times without starting and in the 3rd time without starting it u will see in ur odometer the codes. Write them down if u have any. If u dont hsve any the odometer will say Done right away.
