2006 Dodge Ram headlights

Asked by Guru97SRZR Feb 21, 2023 at 04:01 PM about the 2006 Dodge RAM 1500 SLT Quad Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7 and the headlights will only turn off when I
shut the truck off. I have replaced the switch and still the same issue. I would
appreciate if someone had a solution.
Thanks

Is it for sure headlights or the DRLs. Set the park brake and see if they turn off, if they do then it’s DRLs. If they don’t then someone has retired the headlight into the ignition power. I had a few customers that had me rewire the headlights so they would turn on with the ignition.
