Have lights on dash after changing battery

Asked by IndianaDodge Oct 29, 2018 at 12:48 PM about the 2006 Dodge RAM 1500 SLT Quad Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2006 Dodge Ram 3.7 and battery died and bought new one and put in. Now 4 wheel drive lights are on, parking break light on, air bag light on and others. What can I do to get these lights to go off?

Try to disconnect the battery and hook it back up it may have booted up wrong. You didn't accidentally get the cables crossed when you changed the battery did you? You may have to get the codes read to see what's going on with the BCM.

battery was dead put a new battery in all lights on the dash came on disconnected the battery didn't help
