Question type: Maintenance & Repair

i have a 2001 Ram 1500 sport, while driving down the street other day, brake pedal went
to the floor and just barely got stoped on time, both ABS and brake light on in dash
display. Just wondering if any1 has any idea where to start looking first??

Master cylinder resevoir to see if there is still fluid in it. I don't expect much at all in it. Then you have to check the inside of each wheel to see if you can find evidence of brake fluid leak. If you still can't find it, then you have to check inside the frame rails from back to front where the brake lines from the back go to the abs unit.

Yeah none in it, so i filled it to full line and hit brakes and fluid squirtting out of metal line coming out of master.

New Truck: CHECK Dealership replaced MC: CHECK Brake pedal still sinking: CHECK ABS module is the culprit!
