Why dose My truck turn off ?

I have a 2006 dodge ram 1500 4.7l v8 and today when I
was getting on the highway it got up to 70 mph and it shut
off and wouldn't turn back on for a while. What would be
the problem? And also the other day its was accelerating
on its own

scan for codes even if the light ain't on , the clerk at auto zoo is not a technician , they sell parts .
