perhaps your blower resistor pack is not behaving....varies with temp...yes could be a possibility~

For some reason my bosses 2006 ram does not blow to hard on hot days either. But if you bump the blower motor with your foot (under passenger side of dash) it starts blowing hard like it should. I feel his blower motor needs replacing.

resistor pack...my Toyota blows on the third speed if you play with the control...sometimes....it's the blower resistor pack~
I have been told it has a filter and it does not on my year. What would that answer really be? it also seems like the knob does not always change to defrost but does when u put the floor on (blows a little on the floor)

there are various drawings available....this one's of your heater core (I think it's yours) never sure~
From what I have found you do not have a cabin air filter on that model

The is a radiator inside the black box under the dash that the fan motor screws into ours was full of sludge so we had to take the dash apart and open the box to clean it out. If you take the blower motor off and stick your had in the air duct you will feel the radiator inside that may be the problem
Did you by any chance find a fix for this problem?
Bumping the fan worked! Thanks!
