Where is the fuel filter on a 2001 ZR2 6 cylinder 4 wheel drive?

Asked by KSDREAMWEAVER Jul 21, 2016 at 01:27 PM about the 2001 Chevrolet Tracker ZR2 4-Door 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Car started stalling on way home the other evening.  Had an analyzer put on it
and got code P0102.  Mass air flow issue.  Replaced mass air flow sensor,
plugged the wires back up to it and it won'the start and run at all.  With the old
one on I could at least start it back up and drive it until the next stall.  Took me
4 times of starting and stalling to get through an intersection and another one
to get it into a parking lot. If we unhook the wires from the new MAF and the car
starts and runs (sputters some, but runs).  The Tracker has 209,000 miles on it.

The fuel filter is under the car near the right rear wheel.

correction to my previous answer, the fuel filter is actually on the the left side of the chassis by the left wheel well. Had my perspective reversed.
