Burnin too much coal and no power at take off...

Doesn't stop smoking everyone out
until I've reached desired speed ..
Climbing up an on ramp is more of a
crawl.... RPMs are high tryin to gain
speed.. Motor seems to sound
louder.... Almost as though there's an
exhaust leak....  Any ideas what I
should be looking for?

If the smoke is black it's running too rich. Is the check engine light or service engine soon light on? If so visit your local auto parts store and have them scan the computer for trouble codes. Most stores will do it for free. Let us know what codes you get and we can help further! Hope that helps! Jim

Check your engine oil for diesel. If the oil level is going UP you have a serious fuel leak into the engine.
