Look under the hood and on the emissions control sticker it will give you all the engine size information you need. Take that information to any local parts yard or "recycler" and go from there. If you live in New England contact Marshalls Automotive in Skowhegan Maine, they have good prices on rebuilt engines.

A good rebuild motor of the same size will be the easier and cheapest way to go. If you are looking for more HP or better economy talk to the motor selling people. They will know what will drop in. Changing motor types may cost a lot because of finding out if the transmission will hook up, the parts from your original motor, will they fit, and what other items will the different motor need. Stay withe the original motor for less problems.
