Hey folks,
I have a 2004 dodge ram 2500 5.7 Hemi slt quad
cab with an automatic transmission that has
developed a slight rumble in the steering wheel
and you can feel throughout the cab while
accelerating only.
Right around the top end of 2nd gear around 30-35
mph it starts to gradually increase until the end of
3rd gear and 40-45 mph. If I really get on the gas
and skip from 2nd to 4th it will not rumble at all.
Then when gliding from a cruise speed it will
rumble unless slight acceleration is added. The
truck has 108,000 on it and I'm wondering if
anyone could shed any light on these issues. Let
me know if there are any more questions about the
truck.

I'll check the drive line and u joints soon here and report back. I doubt it's the bearing and hub due to the fact that it's only shaking when I'm accelerating. Hopefully not a tranny issue but well see. Thanks guys.
