06 ram 2500 hemi running lights

Asked by Jake9109 Sep 18, 2018 at 09:34 PM about the 2006 Dodge RAM 2500 SLT Quad Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So I have a ram 2500 hemi that had a left turn signal
issue- as in the front left turn signal wouldn’t work. To
troubleshoot the problem, I clipped the light receptacles
to swap them and the problem still persisted. I put
everything back together, then disconnected the battery
to locate the FCM under the fuse box (still never found it).
When I reconnected the battery and tried to turn on the
running lights I got five chimes, the odometer read d0ne,
and the interior lights and running lights no longer work.
Every time I try to turn on the running lights now the
odometer flashes five or six times and only the brake
lights, head lights and emergency flashers/turn signals
work. Please help!!!

Clip the receptacles off does the problem go away? If so redo if not have the body control checked

So I re wired the lights and they are working now( go figure) but the front left turn signal is still not working. All other lights/flashers work as advertised. This problem has been the bane of my existence- I hate anything electrical!
